What are Chakras?
The chakras are the energy centres of the operating cycle in our body. They form a row of wheel shaped vortices on the surface of the etheric body and flows the vital energy that keeps us alive. Chakras are points on the spine which point out/rotate in a kind of wheels or vortices of energy.
By following yoga classes you automatically also work with all chakras.
There are seven Chakra points:

How do Chakras connect to Mindfulness?
In mindfulness yoga postures and concentration and insight meditation methods are used. By doing yoga postures the mind quietens. The energy points (ckakras) are brought into balance through different yoga poses. The result is a quiet and serene mind. It is after the yoga postures much easier to train the mind in concentration or insight.
